Lisa is working full time for Little Peeps OT while Danni continues to work part time for Little Peeps OT while working towards a PhD. They are committed to providing therapy that is goal directed, based on current evidence and that is focused on what is most important to families and their child.

Danni Centorame |
Director and Occupational Therapist
Danni Centorame received her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Deakin University, and her Postgraduate Certificate in Paediatric Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University. She has fifteen years experience working with children from birth – school age who have developmental delays, are at risk of delays or have developmental disabilities. Her experience includes working in the community for Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECIS) at Biala Box Hill and Specialist Children Services. A large part of her role with these services was running school readiness groups for pre-schoolers transitioning to primary school. Danni’s interests include helping to develop the play skills of babies and very young children. At RCH Danni provides developmental support to families who have babies who experience extended periods in hospital and plays a key role in helping these families make the transition home. She also works in an allied health clinic where she provides comprehensive assessments and intervention to very young children who have complex developmental needs. Danni has completed project work in developing evidence based education handouts to help parents with the development of their child. Danni has lectured and been a research fellow for the occupational therapy course at Deakin University. Danni lives with her partner, two daughters and pet dog. She enjoys keeping active and has interests in home interior design and cooking. |
Lisa Kelly |
Director and Occupational Therapist
After graduating from Charles Sturt University, Lisa has been working as a paediatric occupational therapist for the last twenty-three years both in Australia and the UK. Lisa also has a post-graduate certificate in Paediatrics from Latrobe University, Melbourne. Lisa has worked in various settings including private practice, the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, acute and subacute children's hospitals in the UK, child development centres and special schools. She has enjoyed senior clinical positions and research roles. Lisa is currently also working as a research OT with the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Melbourne. Her passion is working with babies, children and their families to help them reach their potential by providing evidence-based and goal-directed therapy. Lisa is skilled in the assessment and treatment of babies and children with gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, play, pre-writing and handwriting difficulties. She has a particular interest in the early assessment and treatment of babies with cerebral palsy and other developmental disorders such as Down Syndrome. Lisa was a clinical advisor for the State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP). Her expertise is in the prescription of equipment such as strollers, wheelchairs, transfer and bathing equipment and specialised beds for children. She has assisted with the development of prescription manuals for SWEP and works with less experienced therapists to provide expertise regarding equipment prescription. When Lisa is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Lisa is passionate about travel and experiencing new coutries. |
